Where is Drayner? In Team Vengeance?
Crude reference to “Where is Waldo”…
Anyhow. I’ve been doing my thing trying to help Torkd get our guild, Dread and Breakfast, off the ground. In addition, I have been playing a little game with some old foes of the Vengeance forums. You already know that I created Drayhunt for CAD, which I play on and off. What you don’t know is that I have been doing a little under cover mission.
I was working on new warlock over on Akama for Mayhem, but I decided to pull out of that project. I had a level 15 lock with 1400g and almost all his gear sitting over there rotting. I decided to put that toon to use. Here is what I did…
So, I thought it would be funny to roll over there to Suramar and run some WSG and get noticed by the Team Vengeance folks. So, there is a history there. Since I am very vocal and active in forums wherever I roam, I get lots of fans (people that don’t like me). The Poppers were no exception. Cirran, Fort, and Anarcan too… The MTU vs. Dominate thing put the forum bad blood there.
So, throwing myself over there incognito, I could infiltrate this guild of Vengeance guys and roll with them. I wasn’t sure they’d even pick up a pug from the server, but decided to give it a go anyhow. I was going to run with them a couple weeks and then say, HA… I am Drayner bitches… Well, lets see how that goes…
The funny thing is that I was invited by Kidneypopper within two hours of my arrival on Suramar. I played dumb and said sure.
I then ran mostly pugs since most of them were on the PTR. In my typical fashion, I damages, returned, and capped flags…
Rolling right along, I got to 225 fishing the next day after being invited. I fished, nothing. The 2nd week fishing, I got my hat. While leveling fishing, I had plenty of people hop on and ask me wtf I was. They accepted that I was a Suramar native.
Over the next week, I started feeling bad for lying to everyone and last night I decided it was time to tell the guild who I really was. I sent out emails to most of them, then I renamed to Drayner.
No dirt to report, I think I am going to stick around if they will let me after a) lying to all of them and b) being Drayner.
